I think Ron is right here; Dysbanta just hasn't gotten the same publicity as Cooper Flagg since he's not a 6'8" white boy with hops that signed with Duke.

What happens when none of these schools want to pay these OAD kids $2 million a year? What do they do then? Or if it rises to $4 million a year for their 1 year of service. What happens if these schools say enough is enough we aren’t paying it!!! Eventually something has to happen and it has to level off because this is getting ridiculous.

Many have argued either one was the best HS player but most recruiting “experts” that I’ve seen sided with Dybantsa being the best prospect in HS even being a class behind.

I think you missed what we’re talking about. He was saying DJ Wagner was considered the best player in all classes. I don’t think that’s the case. AJ would be the #1 pick coming out of HS even if all the other HS players were available. Wagner was never heralded like that.

i think they were in the same class and Flagg reclassed
i do believe Flagg was the top recruit in that class

There are many who think Dybantsa was better and I can see why. But they are both great players. Flagg will be good because he has good size as well.
