Sounds more like a arrogant egotistical megalomaniac with a over inflated sense of self worth. But thats just my opinion, the KU player could be just misunderstood as for Self, yep a fine HC.

I watched a clip of the dunk and I dont see what the kid did wrong. K-State players were walking off the court before the buzzer, the ball rolled to him and he dunked it without much emotion.

I think Self is trying to run that player off. Looks like he's just trying to embarrass him.

After we beat KU last year his comments were very gracious. Study and learn.

Yeah, this is only a story because Self made it one and I dont think it's by accident.

I read Self's comments then watched the clip and couldn't figure out what I was missing.

Self is a good guy. When I was living in Tulsa Self coached at both for Oral Robert as well as the University of Tulsa. I had a few opportunities to meet him at local charity and business events. He was always very generous with his time and talked with you like he knew you for year.

Bill is one of the good guys.

Yeah I guess. I'm sure he's a fine person, but the fact he shook your hand a few times isn't much evidence for it.

Either way, he's obviously trying to run this kid off and personally, I didn't care for that public shaming he just did.
