I said that if we don't have a package for him each game, redshirt him. Most disagreed and said he needs to play. I agreed but didn't have confidence the staff would play him.

4 games in and only played against Furman I believe. Do you think the staff plans to redshirt him or play him (assuming Rattler stays healthy)?

We just didn’t have opportunities where we played a couple of cupcakes with blowout potential. With the way Rattler is playing and being 1-2 coming into last night, I don’t see why you’d throw him in there where it was beneficial to him and team. And last night he as a shootout where Spencer played lights out and we needed him in there. Just didn’t see an opportunity where again it would’ve been beneficial to Sellers and the team for him to go in.

with 3 games left to play and save Redshirt, I’d say we definitely see him Jax St, possibly Vandy. We have an extremely tough stretch coming up with some hostile road environments.
I’d keep in mind bowl prep IF we get to that point. Would be the most likely of scenarios barring something unforeseen.
Just don’t see the opportunity for Sellers to avoid the redshirt despite his extremely bright upside.

That’s a great point. Although did they stop counting the bowls toward the redshirt rules? I thought they did due to all the transfers and opt outs, but could be wrong.
