Appo is up on Goochland 17-7 at half.
Riverheads is up 42-14 on Galax in the 3rd.
Richlands up 9-7 in 2nd

And Richlands marches right down the field and scores before halftime. 16-14.....less than 20 secs left. (11.6 sec left to be exact). Only took 1:26 for Richlands to score that drive....JLA was 6 for 6 on his passing.
Actually no because it was a pretty even game to start the half. That onside kick was the start of the ending along with two 1 play turnovers didn't help at all. I knew Appomattox would pull away in 2 second half didn't think it was happening in 1st 2 minutes. Definitely not surprised though.
Even from the Goochland cast I could tell that Appo left many opportunities on the field in the 1st half. These two teams aren't in the same class. I guess Goochland didn't expose Appo's "weakness". LOL
Look I don't need no back and forth but that game was far from over at halftime. Appomattox missed opportunities but so did Goochland. As far as Appomattox weakness yeah I still saw it and so did the many Appomattox fans I stood with all game. Goochland couldn't exploit it. This could've been a 10-7 game at halftime so yeah the second half was a mystery to us all because Goochland played well in 1st half considering the field position their defense faced the entire half. I said Appomattox wouldn't get beat after week 1 and I said they would win this game just thought it would've been a 4qrt battle so if the fact that I was off makes y'all day then enjoy. Damn it's just a game. None of y'all said anything in the 1st half so I know you thought we a game too. See you in Salem next week.

But they will have to play better next week. Can't turn the ball over that much and have that many penalties and beat Appo.

Richlands did not look good in the second half at all, but damn if they didn't keep fighting. I wish I had video of the last 2 minutes of that game. The decision to go for 2 was absolutely the right call. What a game!
