I went through each class and tallied home games hosted so far, including this weekend (flight delays provide good time for this, lol!).
This appears to be the scenarios based on who has hosted how many times THROUGH THIS WEEKEND and then seeding. Apologies if I didn't note something properly:
8A:
- The winner of MC/LWE will host winner of Fremd/Bollingbrook no matter the outcomes. LWE has only had one home game this postseason. MC is seeded better than Fremd/Brook, all who have hosted two games if you include this upcoming weekend.
- Oswego will host Barrington/Lockport winner if they defeat Maine South. Barrington will host if they face Maine South. Maine South will host if they face Lockport.
7A:
- Glenbard North will host if they defeat Batavia, since they have only hosted once while Hersey has hosted two games and GBN is seeded better than Rita (hosted 1 game). Hersey can no longer host given what has happened so far.
- BR/St. Charles North winner will host. All four teams who can advance to the semis in this part of the bracket have hosted twice, so the host will be determined by seed.
6A:
- Nazareth will host if they win. Fenwick can no longer host. All four teams who can advance to the semis in this part of the bracket have hosted twice, so the host will be determined by seed. Burlington Central would host Lake Zurich if those two met in the semis.
- St. Laurence will host if they defeat Dunlap, as they have only hosted once. East St. Louis can no longer host since they have hosted twice, and Dunlap (hosted twice also) is seeded better than ESL. Simeon could host if they advance while Dunlap defeats St. Laurence.
5A:
- King will host if they win since they have hosted one games while the three other teams in their part of the bracket all have hosted twice. St. Francis can no longer host since they are seeded worse than Bel. North and Cary Grove, so the BN/CG winner will host if St. Francis advances to the semis.
- Oak Forest will have hosted three games, so they cannot host in semis. Washington will host if they defeat PC. Peoria will host if PC defeats Washington, since Peoria has a better seed than PC.
4A:
- Montini/Coal City winner will host. Coal City has only hosted one game so far, while Montini/Morris/Geneseo have hosted two. Montini is the best seeded team.
- SHG/Rochester winner will host. SHG has only hosted on game. Rochester is seeded better than Cahokia/Breese, each hosting twice through this weekend.
3A:
- Monmouth-Roseville will host if they defeat Richmond-Burton (only 1 home game for Roseville so far, and they are seeded better than IC who has also hosted only once). Byron cannot host since they have hosted twice through this weekend, and Burton is seeded better than them. IC would host Richmond-Burton if they face each other in the semis.
2A:
- Tri-Valley will host if they win, as all of the other teams have hosted 2 or 3 times through this weekend. El Paso cannot host as they are the only team of the four in this part of the bracket to have three home games through this weekend. Farmington would host Wilmington if they face each other due to better seeding for Farmington.
1A:
- Stockton/Dwight winner will host semis. Dwight has had one home game through this weekend, while Stockton is seeded better than both Kewanee and Lena-Winslow. All of those three have hosted twice through this weekend.
- Carrollton will host if they win this weekend due to only hosting once while others have hosted twice through this weekend. Hardin-Calhoun/Westfield winner will host if Mt. Sterling defeats Carrollton.
