They will take whatver information they can get from Flynn and see if someone else can be caught in a lie. If that happens they move on to that person in hopes to eventually getting their target.

I think the obvious answer is Trump or Pence but if they dont get that they get whoever else they can charge. I mean put all the politics aside is there a better job for a prosector right now than working for Mueller? No budget, good pay and almost nobody dumb enough to get in your way.

After this is all over, many books will be written on this ala Watergate. So much below the surface right now. I think they have Trump dead to rights. The guy is a flaming liar. So much of what he has claimed to date on Russia is false. Why are they all lying about Russia? They are hiding something.

I dont think there is anything at all to the Russia stuff. I still havent figured out exactly how Russia wins him the election. If it were that easy Hillary would have done it because she will clearly do anything.

It's hard for me to believe anyone with reasonable intelligence such as yourself can't see that the Trump campaign and Russia were working hand in glove. You just don't want to believe it.

What does that mean? Working hand in glove? Other than spreading their typical propoganda how does Russia help anyone win?

Targeting social media users with false info for starters. Timing the release of damaging emails another. And if they were doing it with the qui pro quo of removal of sanctions (which the Trump campaigned changed in the GOP platform), that gets into conspiracy.

I thought the sanctions they wanted removed were the sanctions Obama had put on them to punish them for hacking emails?

Through 2018 and into 2020 if they can stretch it that far ala Benghazi. I think they grab some from the left as well like Podesta. They might get Page next. I’d be shocked if they get anywhere in the inner circle. I also don’t think there is anything to get for what they are investigating. I think anything they actually get is the noise, it won’t be for what it started out as.

The changes Trump wanted to the platfrom at the convention were Ukraine sanctions. They went way out of their way to change this and has been reported that many Repub's could understand why they wanted to do this. As far as the election santions, why would any US administration not want to punish a foreign power who, according to contemporaneous reports, our intel agencies said meddled so overtly in our election.

So today we're told Flynn lied to the FBI, which we kinda knew, and that he's going to testify he was directed, post election, to contact the Russians. What amazes me is that he actually lied about that contact. Incoming staff contacting foreign nations? Shocking....
