You have to give credit where credit is due. Considering how much they lost to graduation they are putting together an outstanding season.

Very true. It seems that whoever we recruit is not enough to beat them(I am not talking about 1 game) even when they have a new roster in any given year.

One day, things will be different with Rutgers. Let's hope we are alive to see it.

Best of Luck,
Groz

It goes to show you 1 guy can change a team. Powell is next-level. Look at us with Corey last year, even though SHU was #15 we stormed back and took them down at home, and Corey was a big reason for the run at MSG in the B1G tournament. If we had a guy like that this year we’d be in good shape, it just has to come naturally. Even so, with a squad of kids barely out of high school, we came back from down 17 at their place and made it a 1-possession game with 2 mins left. That’s when Powell took over and hit the big 3 when they needed it, that’s what that kind of player does.

That said, if he goes to the NBA this year, next year’s contest will break the streak of 6-point or less games - we will beat them soundly.

Wow! By the way what is this run all of the RU fans speak of? Winning two games against mediocre teams to get to the quarterfinals?

He’s sitting at home on the couch with a year of eligibility...Rutgers.

And a near miss vs. Purdue to almost make the semis. That was fun exciting and while short it was in a tourney and real.
Go away.
