I do not dislike Seton Hall, BUT I am so sick and tired that they have been better than us 26 of the last 30 years.

What a disgrace that they are better than us almost every year.

Very true. It seems that whoever we recruit is not enough to beat them(I am not talking about 1 game) even when they have a new roster in any given year.

One day, things will be different with Rutgers. Let's hope we are alive to see it.

They have tough kids and Powell is a big time player

It goes to show you 1 guy can change a team. Powell is next-level. Look at us with Corey last year, even though SHU was #15 we stormed back and took them down at home, and Corey was a big reason for the run at MSG in the B1G tournament. If we had a guy like that this year we’d be in good shape, it just has to come naturally. Even so, with a squad of kids barely out of high school, we came back from down 17 at their place and made it a 1-possession game with 2 mins left. That’s when Powell took over and hit the big 3 when they needed it, that’s what that kind of player does.

That said, if he goes to the NBA this year, next year’s contest will break the streak of 6-point or less games - we will beat them soundly.

When you are in a tournament with a max of 5 games and you play 3 with 3rd going to wire, that’s a run particularly when you are underdog in each game.
