Settle the debate: The only thing that makes us different from Ohio St. is offensive talent and offensive philosophy.

As with most things there's a flip side to that coin. As a fellow Stiller fan you'll appreciate this one. Consider the way Cliff Kingsbury employs James Connor vs. how Mike Tomlin did. For a refresher, tune in to today's Cardinals vs. Cowboys game. It will be a revelation. I didn't know Connor had it in him.

Yes to all of the above. But how do you build a team to generate those stats?? The Penn State brand and its rich football history sold itself for decades. Back to your point, how do we get those stats and build an Ohio State mega-recruiting powerhouse which is fueled by big money, legal cheating (recruiting) and an unwavering deep focus on football from the top down, and I mean top down (politics). Yes, I’m talking about creating an Alabama type SEC atmosphere where we become the ultimate NFL player assembly line and not a conference of college players. Please don’t misconstrue what I’m saying here, you can still make it to a playoff game but unless the institution buys into to what I’m posting you will get mauled. That OSU team that beat Utah yesterday would have been dismantled by either Alabama or Georgia and those big money donors will not tolerate Day too much longer unless he is able to right the ship real soon.
