I know people will rail about Birt's inconsistency but it happens to all shooters. Kentuckys Malik Monk was 8-12 against UNC and then 1-8 against Louisville. I just hope Birt can keep it up for a few games.

This is exactly what Birt did last season. He was cold as my ice box the first 10 or so games and then just before conference he started hearing up and then he went unconscious for the middle 1/3 of the season and went cold in March

You would correct that is almost exactly what Birt did last season. It just seems to me that Birt doesn't seem to take the OOC games serious enough until conference games start.
