Dabo doesn’t come off as that friend
on the other side who wants to see his counterpart on the opposing team succeed.

Those types of friends are far and few. Beamer knows him better than I do. But I just know how people are and consider myself fairly decent at reading people. I have friends, co-workers, who are competitors of sorts, who will say you need to do X because of X. And it’s obvious that they want me to either look stupid or fail. Then when I don’t do X and things work out they kind of just smirk. People are insidious.

Prior to last years 2022 game- Dabo was taking like he already won. He doesn’t have much respect for Beamer.
