I doubt it! We got a great true frosh that almost All Americanned at his weight in David Ferrante! Ferrante is tough as nails and won a couple of matches at Nationals. Ferrante beat PSU stud Joe Lee at Big Tens. Northwestern doesn't need any transfers. We got a great team.
We got another great frosh named MAX Mayfield. We are loaded from 57-74 as Troy Fisher is a beast! Plus,Our other 49lber Trevor Chumbley is tough and beat Thomas once last year. We have a deep team with great chemistry and coaching.Good wrestlers in the room only make others better. If I were Storiano, I would welcome Griffith and a few others into room.
Sorry but can always take a top guy. And generally guys can adjust their weight class somewhat. Over the years, our ability to get to the top of the team podium has been hindered by limitations on the number of top wrestlers we could have in the program at any one time. We have had top guys but not the depth. This would help us have that depth that could help us move on to that podiumI doubt it! An Open mind is an intelligent mind. Shane has several years of eligibility and Kellogg is appealing too! As is training with Ryan Deakin.
