yes he had one sweet mid range shot. He filled his role, that is all he has to do. Good game out of him. However running the court with the ball and going to the hoop was absolutely cringeworthy to watch

In all fairness to Carter, I don’t think it was his intention to take it the length of the court, but that’s just how things unfolded. Better he went for it, once he was committed, than to hesitate and turn the ball over that way, which is even more maddening.

The other thing I’ll say is, at some point he may have thought he could at least draw a foul, which would be a good play for him, since he’s one of our best foul shooters.

Ole Shaq did alright.

I think he also played better defensively yesterday than he did in any game last year. Glad to see it starting to click more for him on the defensive side of the ball.
