I would sit him for the playoffs especially with the short week.
Yeah after watching the video of the hit I was very worried he would have some damage. Very thankful he doesn't for his sake. I believe Lee will have a better game this week after getting all the reps with 1st string receivers. We have to get better at run blocking, did ok against RS and Chase but Burns and KM we would bust a play here and there but nothing consistent. We have to be able to do that.
Jvs beat SP 42-0. Since Lee may start, they had Hollifield at Qb, looked pretty dang good, what's up with SP there jvs were terrible
We beat them 40-0 I think as well. We will have to earn a chance to meet Shelby in the playoffs but I am glad to see Huitt will be ok. Rivalry, playoffs, rings aside I don’t want any young man to lose a season.
How many hollifields are at Shelby ? 50 ?
Yall have Mitchell County to thank for those Hollifields too, lol. Their grandpa left here and moved to Kings Mountain many moons ago I think to work a job in the mining industry. If you ever hear the name Hollifield 90 percent of the time you can bet that they have roots in southern Mitchell or northern McDowell counties. Sure would have loved to seen those kids in purple, most definitely would have got us over the hump several of these last 6 or 7 years that we've came up just short of winning a state championship.
Sure would have been nice to have those kids at kannapolis. Hollifield came to kannapolis when the late Coach Ron Massey left K.M. to take the kannapolis job.
JV team is essentially an all Freshman team. Only (5) Soph's on the JV squad and (17) Soph's on Varsity.
