Third quarter score 45-0 Shelby

We may get boot stomped one of these weeks but this defense is something else! They are just destroying people ! I would love to know against the starters the yardage and points given up this season!

It will be interesting the next couple weeks to see just how good they are

Dax Hollifield is playing like a man possessed INT for a td tonight and a score from the heavy package and a bunch of huge hits on tackles for a loss

East player down and ambulance coming on field prayers for the kid hope he is ok !

I think the announcer said they had 34 yards total offense.They said we have scored a total of 300 points the first three quarters to 23 for the opponents.

Devin Gullatte, in his first time playing the position this season, showed some speed at running back tonight. I am not surprised, though. He runs track, too, and placed in the state in hurdles. I hope he gets more opportunities, he and Dax, both. Dax looked good carrying the ball, too, in his two carries. Of course, he was hell, defesively, tonight.

I liked seeing Gullatte at rb too
Looked fast when hitting outside edge.
Hope we get a center, and few others back net week

Hope Dax becomes a TAR HEEL, heard he is going to the game tomorrow. Hearing it's between UNC and VTech who are actually playing each other tomorrow. Weather is gonna stink though. Can any Shelby lion fan(s) shed some light on where they think Dax is leaning in terms of recruiting?

I would have liked to have seen him run more inside just to see how he could do. I did see one play where he ran inside and I could tell he was fearless. He's definitely an outside threat but teams will figure that out in a hurry.

Just making an observation. I wouldn't dare think that any school other than Shelby could be a good football team. That would just be absolute lunacy.

You guys have played 3 teams with .500 record and 4 with sub .500. Not taking anything away from either team. More alike than dissimilar

Huh?!?!? They just played their first team with a winning record last week, that's was Northwest Guilford at 4-2. Northern Guilford is 0-6 and High Point Andrews is 2-4. Their schedule and conference is pathetic!

Concussion, which is actually relieving to hear, because there was speculation that it was gruesome. Some of our players expressed their concerns on Facebook about him, they're Facebook friends w/ him. He responded that he was okay and has a concussion.

I think the non conference portion is similar. HP andrews and northern are probably just as good as everyone on their schedule besides ac Reynolds. Then it's nwg. Shelby's schedule of course is tougher especially when you add the conference and our conference is terrible.

Ran in to his pop back in the summer and he said carolina or virginia tech.

Official statistician shows we are averaging giving
Up 92 yards a game defensively ... That's pretty amazing so far in the season

Bob's my brother and Thursday night was special for him. I have missed a few games during his streak but he's there every game. He picks up my slack doing the stats when I can't make it. This is our 21st consecutive season doing the stats. We make a good team and we don't get on each other's nerves too bad, lol

Statman. That stat right there indicates how good this years defense is. Allowing 40 ypg on the ground is very impressive.
