It's this attitude that's part of the problem--she had no obligation to anyone. He was married; not her. The only person that wrecked the marriage was him--if it wasn't her it would have been another woman.
If they beat Ohio State and make the playoff, we likely don't find out now but either way I think they wanted him gone and this was their free pass to do so
100%. The only thing that frustrates me about our coaching search is finding out that they contacted the wrong agent when they try to get in touch with Campbell back in the day.So on Friday morning I am texting with a buddy of mine who is pretty high up at Penn State. We are talking about how poorly this situation has been handled and that if we don't find a coach soon it could set us back years. While we were texting, the news broke that we hired Campbell and my feelings about the state of PSU football changed instantly. Now reading this thread I am having a similar experience. Things are looking so much better for us and things definitely seem like they are heading in the right direction and the timing of this thing with Michigan is terrible (for them!). So many sought after coaches have been extended or hired already, one would assume players will start decommiting and transfering, and they have much less time to get a coach before the transfer period. It's amazing how things can change so quickly!
His goose step running style doen't help either.I did a double-take thinking his name was Hitler.![]()

Disagree...she has no obligation in his marriage. Who knows what he told her. She may have thought they were separated or had an open marriage. If she chose to be the other woman, then she chose to be part of the problem. Yes, he’s the bigger scumbag, but she’s not blameless.
Sorry...my badDude….
I was a hot mess in college. It was a joke. Good grief.
As someone who has had wives, but never been married - I can assure you that she doesn't really care about his personal life, and is only focussed on what she can get out of the situation.Disagree...she has no obligation in his marriage. Who knows what he told her. She may have thought they were separated or had an open marriage.
I know it's shocking...people lie

She did have to know that as an employee of the athletic department a relationship with the head football coach was verboten and if it were discovered he would be fired. If she were, say, an English professor, it would be a nothing to see here situation.Disagree...she has no obligation in his marriage. Who knows what he told her. You said "she has no obligation". "Caring" is synonymous with "obligation".Does she need to care?

I'd say he would've been gone anyway. He's nuts.
Good thing Dave Portnoy led the charge against Bo and removing all his ties to Michigan... oh wait.Dave Portnoy, a Michigan alum and the founder of Barstool Sports, posted, 'On a serious note there have been a lot of schools over the years who have looked the other way with scandals. Agreed. Not saying she's a saint or anything. Just I blame the person that's married when they cheat...no one else. She did have to know that as an employee of the athletic department a relationship with the head football coach was verboten and if it were discovered he would be fired. If she were, say, an English professor, it would be a nothing to see here situation.
Due to her pay raise, the AD had to have known, that much is obvious.
I wasn't saying you weren't. That was more of reinforcement..."does she need to?" as many seem to think she doesYou said "she has no obligation". "Caring" is synonymous with "obligation".
If you think for a moment, you will realize I was supporting your premise.

That's why they will have a hard time getting a coach - no one can afford a house there.I hear the cost of living is tough in Ann Arbor.
To me, that is the bigger problem that UM has, why did she get the pay raise? If it was to pay her to stay quiet, would that trigger the "institutional control" thing, not to mention misuse of school funds? She did have to know that as an employee of the athletic department a relationship with the head football coach was verboten and if it were discovered he would be fired. Wasn’t he accused of raping somebody?I believe Taylor Lewan just said on ESPN that Matt Campbell should consider going to Michigan because he clearly wasn’t our first option. Is this real life?
He supported the kicker who was, plus he made jokes about it and threatened her. Nice guyWasn’t he accused of raping somebody?
Intistutional control is a joke. They blatantly cheated their balls off to win a championship and were allowed to keep it.To me, that is the bigger problem that UM has, why did she get the pay raise? If it was to pay her to stay quiet, would that trigger the "institutional control" thing, not to mention misuse of school funds?
Maybe she's an Ohio state plant to disrupt their program. She did have to know that as an employee of the athletic department a relationship with the head football coach was verboten and if it were discovered he would be fired. Well, if anyone knows about fake integrity after having his scandal swept under the rug, it’d be Mr. Lewan.I believe Taylor Lewan just said on ESPN that Matt Campbell should consider going to Michigan because he clearly wasn’t our first option. Is this real life?
Jolin Zhu, Ellison's current wife, is an avid Michigan fan. 200B earns you a lot of mad moneyAgreed. Apparently Larry Ellison would contribute to UM to cover DeBoer's buyout...not sure why, he's not a UM alum. I guess the other question is whether DeBoer wants to jump from the frying pan into the fire.
If she were, say, an English professor, it would be a nothing to see here situation.
It's almost comical when it's not. Michigan has the Dr Anderson, Cheat gate1 and now Cheat gate 2 scandals. Michigan St has the Larry Nassar ( Pointed at USA Women's gymnastics) and Mel Tucker scandals, but PSU 's 2nd Mile scandal, lands at the top.And on my local (Columbus) soccer board, what was the first thing that came up? Sandusky. Sure the world will forget.....
