All.... Any thoughts on this game? I haven't really looked at the Redskins since I believe it was 2012 when the Cyclones came to Morris and were defeated.

Not looking for a game plan that's for the coaches. I assume they still run multiple formations with those stout rb's and pound the rock wearing down the defense. And sprinkle in a few passes for good measure. 4A.... what's you take? I do know one thing for sure. That little park across the street from the stadium is a tailgaters heaven. (lol) Ratsy

Seen them a few times this year. Not your traditional Morris team. It appears they’ve adopted a more of spread run and gun read option type offense. They still run the ball but will throw the ball more this year. I don’t think I’ve seen them run the “T” formation all year. QB is a dual threat runner and passer and he’s a real good size kid. When he’s on his game he’s good but but I’ve seen him rattled and sloppy but you’ll have that in HS. They have a couple nice running backs that run hard down hill. And a couple receivers that are good.

Defense is above average and physical and have a couple good size kids. they’re not a lights out D that Morris has had in the past but they get the job done however they are susceptible to the big play.

special teams are average. Average kicker, punter and their return guys are good.

Their strength of schedule definitely isn’t what it has been in the past. Lost to a good coal city team on big plays and mistakes and a real good sycamore team handled them pretty well.

Nit92 can probably give a more in depth preview, this is just my observations from couple times I’ve seen them.
How about SHG as with you haven’t really paid much attention to them in a couple years but I think coach Ken will bring them up ready. I’m thinking a mid 30s to upper 20s score type of game just based off years past.

All.... 6-3 during the regular season is not what Cyclone fans are accustomed to but this is a fairly young squad. Their three losses are against Chatham, Rochester, and Springfield with a combined record of 24-3.

Improving every game is what this team strives for. The offense will run or throw depending on what the defense decides to give them. Like the Redskins on defense the Cyclones tend to be physical. Morris is the favorite. Lots of tradition in that stadium of their's but anticipate and hope to see a entertaining game. Ratsy

All.... The weather is going to be interesting and I have a question. It looks like windy and a high of 37. Tailgating at the park might be a bit chilly. What to do what to do.... Can someone familiar with Morris recommend a couple of sport "churches" close to the stadium to hang out where other fans might be before the 2pm start up? Thanks! Ratsy

All.... Thanks for the info. Sharing "stories" about the the two teams involved with Redskin fans before the game would be fun. Optional confession for any fibbing going on available the next day (Sunday) for Catholics. Check your local area for place and times. Ratsy

what about that real big truck stop place? is it still there. man, if i was a truck driver i'd be at all the games on friday nights. i'd probably youtube my adventures. probably get dean and a broad involved.

All.... Burgers! No sir, I'm a week out of a surgical procedure and it will be strictly a liquid diet. (Can't remember if those were doctor orders. lol) They ALL look good (checked their facebook sites) but do you happen to know where most of the Redskins fans tend to hang out before the game? Ratsy

Ratsy county seat ebbys and claytons will most likely have the most fans. I will put my ear to the ground and see if anyone is doing anything special saturday
