Despite the obvious scoring difference between he and Mirasola when competing head to head?
I would like to go back and watch this. My memory is flawed did they meet up in a tourney last year?

That said it likely was a 40 lb+ combined lighter matchup. Honestly, Cole's career resume crushes Cochran's, but I think it would be a mistake to assume the decision has been made, or that Cochran has no chance. He was relatively impressive against some legit competition, as a very light 'hybrid' heavyweight last year, he may just be a different animal this season. Yesterday's performance seems to scream that possibility.

Speaking of Spyker, how about as an exercise we list all of the handles he has had over the years? It's been going on for, like, 20 years or so now that he's graced us with his presence. There have been more than a handful of them.

@El_Jefe if anyone is up for the task, it's you. After that we could entertain ourselves with favorite Spykerisms and stories (NSFW), football board included. I know this is probably offseason work, but better start early - the list is likely to be longer than the old board's "inside jokes explained" thread!

The guy is an absolute GOAT. Once again, we here at PSU are lucky to witness excellence. We get to enjoy a guy who is on the Mt. Rushmore of posters, while the HR is stuck with a guy like IronBird - who is a shell of the greatness that was MudFlaps - as they try in vain to grasp at past glory. Message boards reflecting reality.

Somebody start a thread. Maybe Tom will pin it.
I nominate @Bob_Anderson to ID Spyker handles. He's been around longer than me and seen some of the football board work that I haven't.

Also I'm on vacation.

Just realized that’s who Cochran beat , that is a really good win Dellagatta is going to break the cornell heavyweight streak on no AAs and would’ve been a NQ at least this year

So a small bummer no Cochran v Marisola this weekend. I probably missed if it was clarified earlier but thought it was a strong possibility.

Well according to some on this thread they will both be their, and I would think the coaches would want you see this.
