Should Hurt start on come off the bench?

off bench or match up determined........if wendell is gonna play the winslow 4, he has to hit that open 3
I think our best starting line-up is playing Wendell at the 4, play 4 around 1 with Vernon in the middle.
Hurt is instant off the bench offense. Some matchups he can give us 25-30 minutes, some other matchups he can't play that much.

Raise you hand if before the season you thought Goldwire would be an unquestioned starter and we'd be debating whether Hurt would be a starter! Good for Jordan!
Coach does like his small lineups and I won't argue with him, especially now that it appears White has fallen out of the prime rotation (with Hurt taking his place on the second unit). Feel bad for Jack.

Tre, alex, Stanley, moore, vern. Then bring in goldwire when hurt comes in. Wake forest was packing it in on carey last night because they aren't worried about the 3 with tre, goldwire, stanley, moore

After reading her post in the thread that I started about Sabrina Ionescu, I have no respect for anything that she posts from this point forward.
She's been fairly cordial until the cheaters won and Duke lost in the same night then just like all cheater fans it comes out in them. Today I had lunch atva local grill. Honestly I have not seen any tar heel gear in days if not weeks and while I'm there in walks two fans in heel gear. I had on a Duke sweat shirt but neither one had enough confidence to say anything. Like I keep on posting. They can't help it. They are tar heel fans. It's their nature. What do you think about that toothly1124? Do I get my usual sarcastic like from you on this one. OFC

I’d be ok with this. The other lineup Id like to see for certain stretches would be Tre/Alex/Joey/Matt/Vern. For 3-4 minutes each half, that lineup is good for 15-20 points.
Also, please continue to play JRob. Some of those missed lobs were the result of bad timing and they’ll clean up with more floor time. Also, play Jack again. I hope.
Thank you Jav for your service, but there are just certain games he doesn’t belong. Against KU, by all means. Against small or 1 big lineups, no thanks.
I agree with you about JRob. The only thing they frustrated me about him last night was when he badly airballed two of his 3 pointers. Outside of those shots I was very impressed with how well he played and I believe that he can play like that on a mostly consistent basis. I think it would help us if he played 3-4 different stretches of around 4 minutes per game in some games.
Stopping the ball has become an aggravating issue IMO. Hurt can’t, Alex can’t, baker cant. Moore has moments as does Stanley, but overall we just can’t collectively as a team, stop the ball.
This is why we need to pack it in when people start driving us like that. Virginia doesn’t have great individual defenders. They play a defense that hides that. Idk why we can’t change to a similar defense when teams are scoring at will on us
I like Hurt coming off the bench for 20 minutes. We seem to be much more effective when our big 4 of Hurt, Stanley, Tre and Carey play well. I know this is obvious but when it's just Tre and Carey we struggle mightily. Be nice to get Moore and Baker back on track.
