What really putS RU behind the 8 ball is there lack of top notch training partners for the upper weights. Let's face it. Who in the program is going to be key in elevating this kid???

If he is that much of a priority, my thought is they will get someone in here to train with. And if that is the case, I am sure they are discussing it with him. Nice little troll post though. Are you an Iowa fan? OSU?
Do you know something we don't? It's just a strange post, as it seems to have come from completely out of left field and there's no game playing. I mean the kid hasn't made a tweet or spoken about his recruitment in a while. Flo and other wrestling sites haven't posted about his recruitment in a while. Then bam, suddenly we're behind the eight ball. What brought on this declaration that we're behind in the game?

The RTC will be the source of "top notch training partners". Give it a couple months, I think we will be pleasantly surprised by the level of training talent . IMO

Obviously the staff/school has committed to bringing in suitable training partners. Otherwise, we would not even be in the conversation. Its all a matter of where you devote your resources, and if Schultz makes the decision that RU is the place for him, he is the type of talent that those resources will be applied to ensuring he reaches his potential.
Obviously we do not have the resources of an Iowa or PSU, where we can have top level club guys at every spot, but we can absolutely bring in the talent needed to support the blue chip talent we have. Just look at what we have done for Ashnault.

Also, that’s where SKWC comes in as they fund the training partners, NOT RU Athletics. Please consider donating to SKWC. That’s how PSU & the top programs do it...they have a very well funded training facility. SKWC needs to do the same, not necessarily at PSU’s level. Every $$$ counts.

1st never called you a troll, you got the wrong guy. Just thought it was a weird post. You're like the guy who screams in a quiet movie theater. The second post of mine was a sarcastic joke, which I thought everyone would get since it's been raining for 5 days now. My apologies on the 2nd post since it appears you didn't get my sarcasm, but my 1st post? I asked questions, that pertained to the validity of your accusations. The answer was, "what I happened to be randomly thinking about". Not exactly cold hard facts on the subject, but you were kind enough to answer.
How am I being sensitive, internet bad ***? It's a weird post. Again where is my declaration that he's a troll? He made a statement, I asked questions. I guess asking questions makes you more thin skinned, right tough guy. Didn't know I joined the Marine's when I signed up for Scarlet Nation(or whatever it's called now) There's no substance or article accompanying the post. Like he said it's just what was on his mind at the time. It could have been polka dotted unicorns but it wasn't.
So I asked questions, as I searched the internet to find any latest news on Cohlton. Guess what there internet bad ***? There wasn't a single recent article or tweet on the subject. Not one. So, Mr. Sensitive here thought what could this guy know that we don't? I got my answer by asking, wait for it, questions. The answer however was less inspiring. I now know these accusations simply came from the dark reaches of @Blood_time 's mind.

New name shows up with 3 prior responses and one of THE top wrestling recruits is now mentioned here, with some negative words attached to it. I am still curious to know Blood, if you support a wrestling team, which team is it? Hopefully you will be completely honest about it, but for the most part, we may never really know the truth. Unless you know that RU is not trying to secure high level training partners (or doesn't have them in place), then why jump on here (with most likely a brand new screen name) and make those accusations? To each his/her own. I can only take the facts presented and make my best judgments based on that information. That is why it is troll like.
Schultz is not ready to decide yet. He is coming here for a visit in August so he can meet the RTC coaches and workout partners.

If someone new to the board posts something criticizing the program does that automatically make them a troll and a fan of another Big 10 team? I would love to see them land this kid. Geezus. All I pointed out was based on the current training partners that I know of puts them at a recruiting disadvantage for HWT. Stop painting every criticism of the program with a big troll brush. There have been a lot of trolls here, and PSU trolls are notorious for ripping our program under the guise of conversation. When you lead off with negativity (or perceived negativity), it creates a presumption. If you stick around for awhile, it will all disappear once people get to know you. If you don't stick around...well....you were probably a troll.
For now, welcome. As I said above, in order to land a kid like Schulz, certain promises will be made as to training partners. A promise that resources will be committed to a particular athlete is common for every school where it is not a given like at PSU and Iowa.

That's exactly how trolls from other sites start off, then people catch on and they're gone. Not sensitive, just have had to fend off quite a few douche bags from psu in the recent past. What I have said and others have reiterated. People show up with new screen names and make questionable comments which can be taken the wrong way, and can also be taken the wrong way by wrestlers being recruited. If you are a RU wrestling fan, that's good.. Even fans of other teams are very welcome, provided they aren't here to bash the program for whatever reasons. At face value, and others here can attest, your post appeared to be taking a shot. That's why it was defended. My bad if it was taken out of context. Let's call a truce and have a beer, ok?

The reason I called you out last fall was for posting under multiple screen names attacking RL, which is pretty classic internet troll behavior.
RL clearly cost us a couple duals. Beyond that, his decisions only hurt himself. He would have been a sure fire AA at 157, he lost that opportunity. JVB was 2 seconds from AA, which never happens at 165. I don't know what internal turmoil any of that caused as far as the team dynamic. If there was any at all....perhaps JVB being annoyed he had to cut weight, I suspect it was overblown. The better wrestler is always going to have options as to weight class, and RL was the better wrestler. I dont think it had any impact whatsoever on anyone else.
In any event, I have no interest in continuing any argument with you. You are clearly a fan who follows the team, and you are entitled to your opinion. RL is history at Rutgers... onward and upward.
