They need to bring back the fitness babes in the morning and Australian Rules Football at night. ESPN has never been the same since.

There was a women whose name started with a K...kia, kiara, something like. An adolescent me really appreciated her.

And yet they never procreated. There's something amiss with Fowler. He's a weird guy.
Who knows? Maybe they tried and couldn’t. It happens. Fowler used to work out at my gym on New York’s upper west side. I used to pray that she’d come in with him one time. I probably would have been incoherent for a week!

Subscribe to FloRacing . You won't be disappointed if you really like grass roots racing.
I wouldn’t say I’m that in to it, but it was so interesting to just flip to those events on a quiet Thursday night and these relatively unknown maniacs are in some small town just flat out ripping around in circles sideway, engines screaming, mud flying, flipping over 5 times landing outside of the racetrack, punching each other and 10 minutes later you’re like ok, time for bed. Looking back, the early cable tv days were really a special time.

Their content should be in order

1)Actual Game Broadcasts or repeats of said broadcasts
2)Reporting of game results that happened through out the day -----highlights
3)Human interest stories (30-30)

might not be the ratings generators they desire maybe even be a disaster --- but leave the sports talk radio schticks to sports talk radio arm of the business--- this is TV and Video --- present it with like minded content even if its Aussie Football ----- no one wants to see to guys sitting at desk yelling at each other unless it comes to actual blows---- people may want to listen to that ...like I said keep it to that medium

Back in the late 80's I did some work at the VA in Lexington, KY. On an in-patient floor they had a smoking room. The vets would pile in there with their black coffee and cigs in the mornings. When Flex Appeal came on, they would smoke faster when the ladies moved faster. It was a hoot.

The ratings, of course, dictate what gets on ... if enough folks wanted to watch Aussie rules football over guys yelling at each other at a desk, they'd broadcast Aussie rules football.

Note to self - shut the door to my office when watching this video.

I don't know if this remains common knowledge, but @psuro was a prolific poster of cheesecake back in the day, close to Kassandro. My wife would come up behind me while I'm all agog and she'd say, "Say hello to Ro."

I'd kinda like to see a modern "Battle of the Network Stars" take it's place

Yeah, when Kassandro left, I felt I had to take over. After all, we are both part of the "Ro" family tree. And family supports family.

In general, I would agree with you. But ESPN in particular has made a lot of questionable programming and personnel decisions in recent years that did not appear to be designed to maximize ratings.

Put this on air today, no one would watch it. Put it on OnlyFans and a bunch of idiots would give these girls millions for something they wouldn't watch for free.

They are part of a for-profit company. If they want to stay in business and keep their jobs, they'll deliver whatever is best for their bottom line when it comes to gaining/retaining viewers.

Why are you insulting me for pointing out that ratings obviously drive decisions, because that's so obvious, when you then go on to suggest that they shouldn't allow ratings to drive decisions? They're obligated to maximize value, not appease niche interests while sacrificing value. That, too, is very obvious.
