When UK was in Long Island for the first two rounds of the NCAA in 2001, I made the trip from NYC with two rolls of black and white film. During the games vs. Holy Cross and Iowa I got shots of Bogans, Prince, Estill hitting 3s against the Hawkeyes, and I made sure to get a couple of close-ups of Mr. Wildcat. He was the best. No other program had a guy like him.

Nice to know that a UK Coach still thinks about Keightley.... if Pope wasn't our next coach he'd never of been brought up again.

Truly nice to see our coach "get the assignment."

I hope he can keep winning- he's the coach we need.

I've always thought that something to do with UK basketball should be named in memory of Bill Keightley. When our practice facility was being built I had hopes that it would be named The Keightley Center. It just sounds right.

He needs something.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to a Kentucky Wildcat Legend! One of only two non-player/non-coach contributors (Cawood Ledford being the other) with a jersey in the rafters.
