Sure, but at least this is football related. The NCAA lacking authority to vacate wins as penalty for something not at all under its jurisdiction is widely unjust. LSU’s football team at least did something wrong here.

As an avid college football fan, vacating wins is largely meaningless to me, and was even before the Emmert idiocy wrt PSU and Joe. They do it more or less to embarrass a coach and/or a school, imo. The school should simply asterisk the actual scores of those games and the season results before they actually erase anything, out of respect for the players and staff who were part of the actual wins. Everyone who was part of those teams and games know who won.
