Therein lies my point. Let's say Clinton loses to ED 14-10, then loses to Wallace 14-7, while winning the other 3 games against terrible teams. He'd have a 5-5 Clinton team ranked above a 11-0 South Columbus!

I guess his computer might, maxpreps might (which really matters), but don't forget that if that happens, then if SC and Clinton are both in the same bracket, SC would still be seeded much higher based on being a conference champion and Clinton would be a wild card....if we get to see which Horses are better on the field, you'd get to beat them at SC....and I know, I know, it's possible you could beat them and they'd still be ranked ahead of you, but who cares? You'd be moving on to the next round and they wouldn't

By the way, I just looked up maxpreps rankings and last week they had had SC one spot ahead of EB, and both way ahead of Clinton....which is like you've been saying all along, more like what you would expect with this year's results on the field...Of course, maxpreps, unlike Simmons, counts this season only; where they ended last year means nothing so that's the big discrepancy between the two...Here in the case with these three teams, maxpreps seems to have it pegged better, since last year means nothing to their computer, and also by the way, I would say that if Clinton does happen to stay within one score of both ED and WRH, then I would be very impressed and would not want to see them in the playoffs no matter where they get ranked or seeded

Bro calm down this is one poll SC is ranked top 10 in most other polls....And just a fyi we(Clinton) arent exactly terrible a 6 point loss to 3A Cape Fear and a last minute loss to another 3A school NS Jax....the Final score of the EB game was alil misleading it was a one score game heading into the 4th

That's the main part I don't get about using last year's results as a reason to have South Columbus so low, we went to the Eastern Championship last year, beating East Bladen to get there!

If you read my posts I never said Clinton was terrible. I only stated the facts that East Bladen beat you 35-16 at home, and that you haven't beaten any good teams. Yes you've played some very good teams tough, but no wins against good teams. I was only using Clinton as an example of how his computer rankings make absolutely zero since as he has Clinton ranked higher than East Bladen.
