Brown said that the husker fan base has always been great and if coaches wanted to have the benefit of the fans base they knew they better be able to handle the criticism. He also said after 90 season TO told the coaches that if they had another job they better take it because they all may be fired. There were no coaching changes but more emphasis on being one team instead of looking for individual results. He said that was the start of what followed.

Kevin Warren wouldn’t even let us play then wouldn’t let us play in a bowl game when we complain about missing bowl practices. It’s not our fault. It’s his. I’m not pretending Frost is perfect. He’s not. It’s been horrendous seeing 3 losing seasons that could easily have been 3 winning seasons. Something like 11 losses were 1 score games.
But again, I’m prepared to give him more time precisely because he is Scott Frost. He loves Nebraska more than anyone. This is a destination job for him. If he turns it around he’ll be here a long time. If he doesn’t turn it around, he’ll be gone in 2 years. Then we start over.

If Dickerson commits elsewhere it isn’t automatically because he hates Frost. Smothers is not transferring out like you claim was a rumor somewhere. A quick google search didn’t show a thing about him considering a transfer. But you started that one right after McCaffrey announced he was transferring.

The Nebraska athletic department with the blessing of large donors gave the $35 million willingly. It was not robbed. I've told the story before I had with a large donors and that's the way it was. Come down on them if you don't like the results.
