It's really hard to have anything harsh to say about our team. With that said, I wanted to see what you guys think we can improve on these hopefully next 2 games?

Passing - Feels like our passing has not been as good the past few games. We average 15/game and had 7 today. 2 in the first half.
Lobs - this is an important part of our offense and we've gone away from it. Goes back to assists. Have seen guys open for the lob...that play is there.

Now those are things we can control. I would add 3pt shooting but you can't control that. Just have to keep shooting. Anything else?

I think our home jerseys suck. I love our color blue, but it's barely visible. Even the word KENTUCKY is in white. Maybe we should change our chant to GO BIG WHITE?

1. 3 point shooting is still blah. I'd love to see Aaron and Devin making more 3's when open. Andrew has actually been our best 3 point threat since February 1st or so said Matt Jones, and that is not ideal...although we are all happy Andrew has added that to his game to an extent.
2. Finishing around the basket. WCS, DJ, Lyles...gotta finish on the majority of the bunnies from here on out. If UK had made half the easy layups they missed today they probably win today by 25-30 points.
3. The D has been kinda up and down with teams getting to the basket. I'm not sure what has been going on, but maybe it is just maily a FL issue.

To beat UK you need them to suck from three, miss a lot of easy 2's, play mediocre D, and suck from the FT line IMO. Maybe you can get UK with 3 of the 4...but I'm not sure about that as UK did the first three today to an extent, and won by 15 with ease. UK always plays their best against the best competition so I think a lot of the above issues are due to effort and focus.

A lot of our assists come from lobs. We only had 1. Normally have 4 or 5 a game. Also we weren't hitting jump shots, so not a lot of assists. The best assist was throwing it off the board and letting KAT get it.

As has already been posted, Booker and Aaron need to start knocking down threes. Booker was WAY off today. He took a few shots that weren't even close.

Teams with guards who penetrate and shoot well off the dribble worry me.

The good news is Cats margin for error is pretty big. Shot the ball terrible today but still won. They are turning the defense up when they need to but that is a little worrisome. I am hoping once the NCAA tourney starts they are locked in on defense from the opening tip and if they are just average on offense Cats win number 9.

They are in cruise control for 2/3's of the game and then step on the defensive gas. Need more than that.

Transition defense and allowing easy put backs....offensively, UK needs to develop some new plays to get more interior passing between bigs, like the pass from WCS as to KAT today. With their height, those passes should be happening a lot more. Would like to see Booker run off of screens more and more of a warrior mentality on rebounding. That stat has dropped as well, even though KY is still out rebounding most teams, but get that more in line with what they were doing at the beginning of the year. Jmo

It doesn't seem like,they are having fun last few games. Not as much standing and cheering on the bench as like most of the year. I think they are bored ...... I think they are ready for the tournament. Then they will unleash a six game can of whoop *** and high fives

first game all year I thought Booker looked a little flustered, took at least one bad shot.

In my mind, there's just some small things creeping in that are keeping us from playing to our potential. Guess that's why Cal is talking about everyone doing 3% more.
