If not for all the gift turnovers by Nebraska this game is not even close.
Gift turnovers, come on. You act like the Tooth Fairy gave them, them. The turnovers this year were by design not gifted. They're now attacking the ball which does lead to broken tackles. It's a risk/reward they were willing to take. Last year 10 turnovers in 12 games, this year 18 turnovers in 9 games. Had nothing to do with luck.

I wonder what the reaction wouldve been if Vedral had Sit's stats last night?

Art was "off"? Next time the temp drops below 20°F, take a fully inflated football outside. Take a walk for a half hour, throw the ball at a target a dozen times, take another walk, throw another dozen balls. Let us know how you did.
Yeah so the weather doesn’t impact other teams QB? Ok got it.

Art Sitkowski is a very fine kid , a very good spokesman and by all appearances a credit to his family. But he is not a starting Big Ten QB. His lack of mobility is a problem. But his biggest issue is his inability to read defenses , go through his progressions and pass to anyone other than his primary receiver. Teams knew this and overplayed his primary target. Combine all of that with his not handling pressure well and forcing the ball , and you have numerous interceptions.

How many interceptions did Art have in 2020? Zero. How many did he have in 2019? Two. Numerous interceptions?? Oh, I see it now. You are referring to his 2018 stats as a green, true freshman when he was behind a line that couldnt block many FBS defensive lines. Yes, numerous in 2018 but very unfair to apply that to present day when trying to support your position.

Sit has the talent, but so far it only has shown on an inconstant bases.
Artur is a talented player that was rushed into the limelight before he was ready and that might have stunted his development, even if he red-shirted most of last year.
We seem to be forgetting that when Sit went to IMG for his senior HS year he lost the starting position.
The holes in Sit's game might not have be fixable now that he could be considered P-5 starting material.
The talent Artur is said to posses, is one that would make him good P-5 QB if developed right.
This year he only shown flashes of that and did not prove he could be counted on to play at the level his talent suggests he can play.

I believe Sit has two more yeas of eligibility, but not sure if he'll use it at RU .
But if he does, hope Gleason can get Sit's talent to show , in 2021, like we hoped he would be when he first arrive4d on the Banks in 2018.

At the end of the day, Artur had two wins in limited time and Vedral had one win. What would have helped both is a powerful running game, which was missing. Focus needs to be in improving the offensive line, because that’s our biggest weakness.
Truth. The offense will go as the O line goes.

And the QBs are all playing their asses off, and have had good and bad moments. Not gonna beat up on any of them.

Some of these posts remind me of certain "news" outlets that still will not recognize or report certain stories or ask the P-elect certain questions. Sweep issued under the carpet that are plainly there.

I thought Sit was fine last night. I think he was playing well and the huge drop by Pacheco zapped all our momentum. I think the Langan short yardage package killed us at least twice and probably more times than that. I think our inability (or unwillingness, we'll never really know for sure) to run the ball between the tackles hurt us all year. Art isn't great, but I think he was way better than 2018. Someone above said a D student improved to a C-. That's ridiculous. He was straight Fs in 2018 and was a solid C last night. As a teacher, I know any student that goes from Fs to Cs has made huge strides. Will he win us a Big 10 championship? Obviously not. But he can easily be a QB to lead us to 6 wins and a bowl game. For now, I'm ok with that.
Agree with your post and @rutgersal's. Sitkowski had a better season than Vedral, but when the line is getting dominated and there's no running attack, there's not much a QB can do. Without Art's clutch play we'd likely have finished 1-7 instead of 3-5, which would have been a totally different narrative going into the off-season. Winning 3 Big Ten games this year will do wonders for recruiting.

Maybe Rutgers should do the same thing with AS that they did with 2 big QBs who didn't have the talent to be an FBS QB: move him to TE.
