No big deal. I just remember thinking he would have been a good one had he played. Just looked/moved differently to me. Kinda like when I saw Randall Cobb on the football field for the first time.

lol. I’m a DA. Yes. Not sure where I got Edwards
Na man. I used to wonder how my dad couldn’t remember some of the players from like two or three years ago when I was younger while I knew how tall they were their wingspan hometown favorite food shoe size lol….. now it takes me a minute to remember Koby Brea from last year even tho he was an awesome player.

Someone mention "Burks" the other day, and I had to look him up. I really don't think my memory is that bad!

It makes difference when players are there for 4 years vs a few months. I can tell you the complete roster for the 78 team plus their heights and numbers but I am sure I can’t remember every player and number from any of the recent teams.

Because you're half way to 60 and the second half only takes about 7 & 1/2 years.
Don’t do that man lol I’m 30 forever. I was actually thinking about that the other exactly how you said it. We all better enjoy it huh it really is a brief time we are here🙂

@BlueBlood96Cat
Your comment on older players sitting out made me think of the Edwards young man(may he RIP). Anybody know the deal on that? I remember he played in the last game maybe but can’t remember the whole story.
I see now you are talking about Clarke.

He was hurt. He didn’t just sit out.

I went to the SEC tournament game against MissSt.

He played that game. Had we won he would have kept playing.

That was not a sitting out by choice situation.

You have a good enough memory to remember in the year 2056 that someone warned me it would go by this fast. ;)
Hey if I’m here in 2056 I’ll be one happy joker! I would have watched my kids grow up and hopefully their kids
Early to be drinking.
Man I wish I knew some UK fans around here that liked to crack open a beer or maybe blow down some trees while watching some Kentucky basketball. I’m stuck with Tennessee fans methed out in all directions. House right in front of me has Tennessee flags flying everywhere. If we win today I might take her some cookies.

I guess that’s my question. I’m not making an accusation but I do remember there were rumblings that he could have played. Don’t remember if they were as bad as they are now for JQ.

I don’t remember that either. I wasn’t posting here then.

I don’t remember much rumbling about players not playing. Brooks was hurt that season too.

I do seem to remember people questioning the severity of Clarke’s injury.

Mainly because it didn’t look that bad when he did it.

Was definitely a mysterious injury. That was like the beginning of Cals end. Those years. I believe a couple things like Clarke playing all season would have helped so much during those times. Idk if anybody thought he was faking or sitting out but it was definitely another Jarred Vanderbilt situation where we really never knew what was wrong.

Yeah, he was extremely careless and did the thing that so many people fo across the country every day.

I grew up in Kentucky and drove 100+ every time I got in a car. Those roads back there are very narrow compared to Utah. I should have died in a car or truck. I'm 67 in April, and now I am that old guy, that I use to curse, for driving the speed limit 😂

He endangered the lives of those around him, purposely. That can't be glossed over or overstated. Driving as fast as he was right through a 4 way intersection. FAFO

Oh man, I drove like a jerk in my younger days. I used to travel the country in a Ford cargo van with a ton of form lumber on the roof, but I used to drive through mountain roads like I was on the olympic slolom ski team. I would take every curve as fast as I could and I never wore a seat belt.

He paid the biggest price you can pay for his actions, I'm not going to pile on the kid.
