So CES is wrapping up and Engadget has revealed their best of CES list. The over all winner will have cable cutters pretty excited I think...

"The good news is that Sling TV has managed to secure a myriad of big-name channels as part of its over-the-top service, including ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Travel Channel, Food Network, ABC Family, HGTV, Disney Channel and Maker -- all of which are going to be part of the basic, $20-per-month package.
Furthermore, Lynch added that at some point in the near future, there will be add-on, content-specific packages, featuring networks like Disney Junior, Disney XD, HLD, DIY, Cooking Channel and Bloomberg -- Sling International channels too, but those are going to be narrowed down by the country they are from."
So Sling TV will basically have a basic package listed above, and in the future they will have add ons. Now what I will be looking for is if these add ons are packaged up (like cable companies have done for as long as we can remember) or are they going to be a la carte (i.e. can I get Cooking Channel only with out DIY or something)
I think it's a good step (not huge) in the right direction, and a good move for Dish (they own Sling) who has been struggling to get new customers.
