Unfournately yes. They are loaded. Knuepple being really good takes them to another level. @Blueheart32 how you all feeling about the squad heading into the year? I think yall are clearly one of the 3 best teams on the nation
Where are they overrated at? They have almost everything and they have the best player in college basketball, or a top 3 player.
I agree they’re loaded but I think we beat them. I think we have more experience and better overall guard play.
I think we beat them 3rd game of the season on a neutral court. I wouldn't want to play em in March tho.

Procter and butler is even, both good defensively but not great on offense, foster is better than Krisa/oweh or is more talented, kon & sion is vs Robinson & brea is close, Flagg is better than anybody we have on our roster, the big guy from Africa is also better than our bigs. The difference is duke has a superstar player and Kentucky doesn’t, that’s why I think duke wins the game comfortably.

No, it’s more going off the fact they have a player that is a unreal talent, and Kentucky doesn’t
Everyone is pumped and ready for the season! Mostly waiting to see which players live up to their billing and hoping for no injuries. We already have Ngongba out and I’m hearing Khaman Maluach may have some kind of hand issue now. I don’t believe either of those two would have started early in the season as I think it may be Maliq Brown. Flagg and Kneuppel looked great in the exhibition game but the scrimmage against Arizona state will be a better barometer I think. I’m excited for our game against you guys! It’s typically always a good one. We have you, at Arizona and Kansas in Las Vegas all early in the season, then Auburn later. They should be tested well.

I want to be wrong, and if I am, please come back and give me hell for it. That’s means Kentucky played good. I just think early duke having the best player on the floor will be the difference.
Kneuppel being really good takes you all to another level. Duke has a little bit of everything with this squad. And honestly if scheyer underperforms with this squad it may be time to start questioning some things with him.

It's been a while since we have won the early out of conference big game. I'm putting 100 on Duke and hope to buy a win. Coach Pope will have a game plan and hopefully we have a quick zone ready to mix things up considering nobody is good at defense early in season. I know both teams have shooters but a change to a zone to give guys a easier assignment on defense may help our guys. If they shoot us out of a zone then so be it.
I think people have been a little over critical on Scheyer. His fist year, he won the conference tournament, and second year went to the elite 8. But I agree that anything less than an elite 8 with this group is an underperformance as long as there aren’t a lot of health issues. I still have confidence he is going to be fine
I still wonder what might have been with Gooden and Strawberry.
Fair, my only criticism of dukes roster is if Procter is a good enough lead guard to take y’all where you want to go

Last year we beat the crap out of Miami, who was ranked in the top 10 and also beat UNC. Both games were in our first 10 games played. Miami was at home, but UNC was on a neutral floor.
At the time, both teams were red hot and playing well.
Damn, you love you some Duke don’t ya? You can come up for air anytime now I watched Duke’s scrimmage, they’re not head and shoulders above Kentucky. If anything. We’re actually better because of our experience and shooting. The white kid from Wisconsin was shooting wide-open three’s. No defender in sight. Flagg will have the 2 time conference DPOY to check him. Kid had 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes. Stop with the giddiness. It’s embarrassing.
Said the same thing in 2019 and look what happened. And no I hate duke just as much as everybody else does. I’m just being honest with what this team is and what the expectations are. Oh my gosh I’m so embarrassed because woodsmoke called me out whatever will I do now. Get over yourself man. And Kentucky hasn’t played a game yet, so what your reasonings for believing in anything with Kentucky besides it’s what you want to happen. Duke has the best player on the floor that’s why they will win.

It's not unreasonable to think we wouldn't win that game. It's not to say we will lose but I wouldn't get on someone for saying it if they thought Duke would win
