Speculating here but my guess is he takes the year to get 100% healthy after tearing ACL and lands at an NIU or ISU type program. Obviously, there has to be more to it but I have to think he will use final year of eligibility elsewhere.
Late round/FA at this point unless he puts up a huge senior year somewhere. I liked the fact that he went to his home state University, it gave him early playing time, but their QB merry go round of mediocrity didn’t help him.
It was too bad he got hurt halfway through last year because Peters is a pretty good qb. His first 2 years the qb play was poor. Hope he gets healthy and finds a good fit. Very talented player
