Lol when you were only beating Andrews 14 to 0 at Half you started making excuses 1 Through 11. You were trying to let the other teams think it was a off night going up against a very inexperienced young team under a new coach and system. It was embarrassing to only be up by 14. All I'm saying is your team is a little off this year compared to the previous 2 years. Next week should be the deciding game for the conference championship since Cherokee is devastated by injuries. But wait one minute my friend ! Don't forget about Swain !! I got a feeling they are going to be tough. The Fans over there are being awful quite on here. I guess Hayesville folks are just happy that yal are overlooking the speed in Hayesville. They have a great coach in his first year. Kids are buying in. But, like Cherokee and other people of hype, Hayesville won't win a game. Conference may get wild this year.
Hayesville will pay a visit to Swain friday night. Swain is 0-5 and not looking to lose #6 to the yellowjackets. Haven't seen anyone downing the jackets. They have swain, then rv and murphy at home. Plenty of opportunity to prove people wrong. Do I think they are going to be a top tier team...... um no
The good news over in cherokee is that this will be the exact same team to take the field next year with the exception Of the two remaining seniors. Even with all the injuries I believe they still have a shot to break top three this year
Swain can't afford not to take everybody seriously this year... they have a bunch of talented juniors and sophomores, but that's what they are... juniors and sophomores. Next year is looking pretty good... this year could be too, but the kids will have to work hard and catch a few breaks. The conference looks like it will come down to next week in Rville and the last couple of weeks of the season when Swain travels to Murphy and Rville comes to BC. This year is looking like Murphy's to lose, but that's why the play the games.
Actually a couple of posters from Cherokee stated Hayesville wouldn't beat anyone. Oddly BK was the one that disputed their claim.

Oh yeah, Brevard beat Franklin. Not sure Franklin is the team we thought they were.
