Not as long as you would think.In 2006 Swain lost their first five games ,in 2007 first seven games.

Ok I did not get on till 2007 and probably 2008 or 2009 before I really learned all the really great schools that was posting on here .

The 2007 Swain squad went on a role and helped facilitate Cherokees repeat. Cherokee went to the game favorites to win the conference outright and ended up losing, Swain I believe beat Murphy which saved them from sharing the crown. I believe they also had a very good Avery team on the ropes in playoffs before losing. As it played out that season you can't count any team out during conference play no matter the start.

They won five of their last six games including ,Cherokee , Murphy,Andrews .They beat Avery in first round and lost to Mount Airy in second round.
