If its cancelled then murphy would only play 10 games and couldnt drop the franklin loss. Im i right about that?

If Greenwood cancels or don't come can't Murphy call it a forfit win ?

The score was 48-0 a few minutes into the 2nd quarter, that was it for the starters (3-4 of which were suspended). 'Dogs could've scored a hundred and gave up none with their starters, if they had wanted.

Greenwood actually had some decent athletes, from what I understand next week's team (N Georgia Falcons) will be that much more overmatched.

I'm not real sure how these teams ended up on everyone schedule I've never even heard of these teams and we have one too. Less than exciting games and a feel like a waste of time. But I guess you got to schedule who will play you.

I agree, no one wants to watch these games or make a road trip for one. My guess is that this is a result of Murphy having difficulty finding anyone that will play them. Smokey and Murphy would have been a good game. (I know Smokey dropped Murphy). Mitchell, Hendersonville, Tuscola or Union County GA would have made for great games.

Maybe something like seeding by the Maxpreps rating system will help with this situation. Then bigger schools wouldn't hurt themselves so much in the playoffs by scheduling strong schools from smaller conferences. They should probably come up with their own rating system, though, where the ratings are public and can be calculated independently.
