Yeah rosman’s Game will be a toss up! Hope the tigers can clean up more mistakes and get a win Friday we sure need some positive momentum

Robbinsville young line (1 freshman,2 sophomores and a couple juniors) needs to keep improving.. Knights had 330 yds rushing last night.. Anderson had 12 carries for 150 yds..Hooper had 104 yds on just 7 carries

Idk if R’ville can pencil in the W. The 2A-3As have handled the SMC fairly well. Smoky, NB and Pisgah each revenging their ‘17 losses against the Co-SMC Champs. The box score showed Pisgah led Enka 14-6 at the half and only scored twice in the 2nd half. It wasn’t what I expected out of a team that defeated this years clear SMC front runner.
R’ville could find themselves in the L column like their SMC brethren. This season has already shown that last year means nothing. I am glad we shaved off some rest and jitters. The N. Georgia game showed our youth unfortunately it wasn’t much of a game and there was very little critiquing happening.
I hope the Knights put their first W in Big Oaks this Friday and continue to build momentum.

Murphy at C.Davidson...that's like a 1,000 miles away...I'll probably come check this game out since Thomasville has a bye week and I'm off work Friday

Definitely not looking forward to the drive! I'd say the visitor side should have plenty of seating.

Enka 20 at Robbinsville 26 - Giving Robbinsville the edge in this one because they are playing at home.

North Henderson 0 at Swain 35 - Swain better not let North Henderson score. North has been outscored 97-0 in the first two ball games. Time to get a young team some confidence and it will be nice to play at home for the first time this season. Wake up call has been received by Swain being winless vs two undefeated teams. Already see some progress this week in practices.

Madison 7 at Rosman 21 - Time for Rosman to show up vs the weakest opponent they have faced.

Andrews 28 at Gladiator Sports Academy 7 - Andrews gets into the win column.

Murphy 28 at Central Davidson 14 - Murphy travels 1000 miles to get a second win this season.

I think Murphy wins big despite the drive--Central Davidson squeaked by Atkins, which lost their next game by 60 and was a doormat the whole time they were 1A.

Andrews should also win big. They beat Gladiator 42 0 last year even when they didn't beat anyone else, and the location has been changed to give the Wildcats their home opener. Plus this will be Gladiator's first game with kinks to still iron out.

Rest of the games I think will be closer, but will pick this to be the SMC's undefeated redemption week.

I can't get a read on Enka...they played a good Pisgah team tough but got drilled by Owen, who has been way down. But I still say Robbinsville takes it at home.

Rosman has played some much larger schools with good athletes even though they have taken some big losses , and I think that experience against good competition will pay off now that they have a lesser opponent. Picking them to get their first W, but I think it could be a close one.

Swain should beat NH. They also should have beaten them last year on paper. But still picking them to win at home, especially since they will feel they have something to prove after the SM game.

To bad Smoky dropped Murphy, might have actually been a game for once. Don't blame them though, I would drop a 1A school if I lost to them 16 years in a row to.

Robbinsville will have their hands full..Enka has 23 seniors..we start a freshman, 2 sophomores and a junior on the line of scrimmage

Pretty obvious they got caught looking ahead, Enla score was a pick 6 I think. Plus Pisgah isn't built to blow teams out, they are all about defense.

Serious question. How can three of the best teams from the smc end up playing the three worst teams from the wmac? Would love to see the best from each conference go head to head. Maybe like a smc vs wmac challenge. All teams play each other. Teams like North Hend and Enka need to be playing teams like Andrew's and Rosman. Would be fun to see.

Thank you mag for not bashing us in ur question.
Some years we could finish top 2 or 3 in that conference. 2014, 2009, Robbinsville teams would of done well in that conference. 2012 Swain team also. A couple murphy teams in the last 10 years could of done well. Over all murphy,swainz and Robbinsville would finish middle pack most years. Reynolds has 4x the kids as Robbinsville. Here is a question for you. How would Reynolds do in a conference with school enrollments over 4,000.? That is the same thing your asking of Robbinsville with 350 kids. I would say Reynolds would finish near the bottom every year. So in my opinion we achieve much more that a Reynolds. Pound for pound Robbinsville is greater than Reynolds.

Pound 4 pound ranking.
Robbinsville > Reynolds
Murphy > Reynolds
Swain > Reynolds.

P.S. I promise nobody want to see Robbinsville averaging 500 kids enrollment.

If R, M, or S had 1,000 kids Reynolds wouldnt be looking forward to playing any of us.

Did I read the stats correctly that Davidson had 2 backs rush for over 250 yds against the Murphy defense?
