First week in the conference where there may actually be some good games. Rosman and Cherokee will probably be the battle for last place and either teams last chance at a win this year. Andrews should give Swain a good game and who knows may surprise them if Swain lets them hang around. Then last we have what most see as a lopsided game in Hayesville @ Robbinsville, I expect the Yellow Jackets to give the Black Knights a tough game. We have seen Robbinsville take the Yellow Jackets lightly in years past and been upset by them. The culture in Hayesville has changed and this Hayesville team has won two games in crunch time at the end this year. Those are two games that would have been losses in years past, but this team wont give up and will come ready to play, maybe the Black Knights think they will roll over the yellow jackets but if they dont come ready to play there best Hayesville may shock the world.

Browns have a much better shot of winning the Super Bowl than Jackets do of winning at Big Oaks this year.

Hayesville is improved from last season but still way behind in the trenches compared to the top of the league.

Changing a culture isn't necessarily reflected in a win-loss record. They could be 1-4 and have changed the culture in Hayesville, or it's possible they win out this season and it's not been changed.

I don't know who will come out on top out of those three, but I tell you who the most underrated out of those three are - Swain County

Swain is the only team of the Big 3 that I haven’t seen this year but I agree that they are underrated. I like what they are doing though as well as their fans on here. No beating their chests every week just winning games and moving on to the next game. They have everyone back from last year and it should be their year. But time will tell. Of the Big 3 I have no idea who will win the SMC

Guys please stop hyping Hayesville up. I've said it before. Relax, and use your noggin for a moment. Hayesville has been hurt by a few key injuries. That could have them maybe nocking off one of the big 3. That's a big Maybe. The coaching staff have done a good job of keeping them in games when they had nothing. Hayesville will have it's time to compete but this year isn't it

I agree with Cherokee kid. There has been so much talk about Robbinsville and Murphy when Swain may be the team to beat. They are still undefeated as well....

I agree with Cherokee kid. There has been so much talk about Robbinsville and Murphy when Swain may be the team to beat. They are still undefeated as well....

And I don't say that to take away anything from Murphy or Robbinsville. Both have very good football teams. I think Murphy has the best defense of the three and Robbinsville has the best offense. But I think Swain might be the most solid overall. Any of those three teams could beat the other.
