Some new positive information on this parasite.
I won't be snacking at McDonalds or any other fast-food restaurants for a while.

Well, we’re currently following the same pattern then as this administration is intent on largely dismantling the US Forest Service - cutting research labs and funding, decreasing fire fighting assets, etc.
The World Cup Final dodged a huge bullet with this as cold, rainy weather moved into Ontario and Quebec recently and will dampen these effects.
For anyone interested, one of the worst natural disasters in US history were major wildfires in Wisconsin that occurred the same time as the Great Chicago Fire. The news out of Chicago drowned out other news, but the Peshtigo Fire killed approx 2000 people - dwarfing Chicago’s death toll. It’s an insane story

Yesterday (Friday), we had some rain and wind from the south come through which temporarily cleard some of the smoke. Late Friday night and early this morning (Saturday) had a little more rain and slight breeze to keep smoke levels down. Just finished cutting my front lawn. It was already in the 80s and humid but little smoke. Tomorrow, winds are shifting again from the North and heavy smoke/haze returns.Much better day here in NEW. JERSEY.today compared to yesterday. No haze or smoky smell. Canada must be blowing or the U.S. must be sucking in a different direction today.
