If SMU beats Tulane today they will likely get some respect and get ranked around 24-25. That would give OU 2 wins over the committees own top 25. Anyone think that might be enough for the committee to push OU into top 10? Considering PSU only win is vs Iowa whos offense couldnt score against a pop warner team

SMU is 25 right now so a win over #17 would probably put them in the 20-21 range.
if Bama wins, and FSU, Mich, takes care of business as well. Texas should get into playoffs. If winning a conference title and head-to-head wins matter, they should be 4th team. I dont think that will happen because that would mean SEC would not have a team in the playoffs.
SMU would have had their hands full with Tulane anyway, but they’re going to need a few bounces now. Stone broke his leg last week.
SMU is only ranked in the AP and Coaches not the committees. After beating 22 Tulane tonight I suspect they will now get ranked.
You're definitely right (imo). It's going to be very interesting to see how they handle this! Saban has been camping hard for exactly this scenario!
