Tend to agree myself. Not that Snell is better but that they may turn out to be a lot closer than some think. And you actually can tell some things just by watching them and how they play regardless of stats, opponent etc. That's why the pro's have combines. Snell runs hard, has drive, hits holes at full speed and seems to have some wiggle to go with it. Those are good starting points for a good back anywhere. Haven't had a chance to see speed in the open field yet but may soon.
Either way I can tell you I'm real happy to have him.
I think Snell has a great future. As @Soupbean mentioned, we havent seen home run type speed yet but he definitely is a hard tackle.

Cobb played for Kentucky so there are exceptions and Snell has done absolutely nothing so far that makes the OP's origanal premise impossible.
It's stated above that Harris just ran for 144 yards against Ole Miss.. He also did that with Alabama's O-line and coaching. Still don't see any proof that Snell can't be better than Harris.
Cobb was one of the all time greats here.
But was he better than his counterparts at Auburn or Georgia?
I'd say Julio Jones and AJ Green are still better even though they had a better supporting cast.
I'm all for Snell being great and if he is so awesome why did it take so long to get him carries?
