That lineman who just fell backward onto his butt....that was symbolic of their playoff hopes crashing back to the ground....with no one to blame but themselves.

Lesson learned.....send the house at Lamar. He is one dimensional.

Made me think of the Morgan Newton fall from a few years back.

At least Morgan was backpedaling...this dude was just in a stance. Hahaha

Thought the opening play was symbolic of the next 60 minutes. Return man runs into his own blocker and fumbles, Houston recovers and scores on the first play. Thus, 11 seconds into the game, it was Houston 7, UL 0, and Houston had kicked off!! I mean, what are the chances of that happening?

Honorable mention to taking a safety from your own 20 yard line, that is a long way to run backwards only in order to get caught for intentional grounding in the end zone.

You gotta watch this one too. Its exactly the same thing from the same position on the o-line. Maybe something supernatural is in play.

I saw that and laughed so hard. It reminded me of an animal (can't recall which one) that drops over and plays dead when it feels threatened.

That would be fainting goats. I think it is a nerve thing where they basically lock up when "stimulated" in that way.

Priceless signature moment to sum up a real tough night for the Cards. And illustrated one of my pet peeves perfectly in that there is nothing worse for an offensive line than to sit there waiting forever for a snap. It sucks the life out of them and forces them to rock back on their heels while the defense does the opposite and digs in.

Maybe they were trying to see if Houston had strippers that could squirt to the ceiling.

That was definitely classic. I was ready to turn the channel because I didn't want to watch UL pound Houston. Then Houston scored 7 secs into the game. I ended up watching a very enjoyable first half.
