So, honest question, do we just remember the good stuff from Kobe? Not the fact that he was accused of rape, and then paid off the alleged victim?

Its not that we forget the bad things, it is that the man showed that he had grown past that and matured into a different man than he was when he was 25. People shouldn't be remembered for their worst moments but for their as a whole. People should be able to move past things, even terrible things. Most men that achieve great things have skeletons hidden somewhere and just because some peoples skeletons are in the spotlight doesn't make his achievements any less great.
In my opinion if someone shows the ability to grow and change and become a better person you have to respect that or else most of us are all pieces of **** judged by our worst moments in life.

I could be wrong, but I didn't think he raped her, thought it was consensual & he ripped her guts out & she decided it wasn't for her & after it all came out she admitted to it .

Answer this retard. Why is it none of these accusers came forward until Trump ran as a Republican for president. Why have most, if not all, recanted their stories? Why did nobody come forward until Kavanaugh was appointed SCOTUS? Until then he had no accusations. You slurp on kool aid as much as you slurp obamas dick

In civil suits, innocent people pay all of the time. The reasoning is because it’s cheaper to pay someone off with an NDA attached to it than it is to go to court and fight. The goal of all lawsuits is to get a settlement in your favor, not a judgement. Judges will push like hell for settlements, ordering mediations, etc. between councils before they’ll hear the case. High profile guy like Kobe, big money attorneys? He probably settled for waaaaay less than what his attorney fees would’ve been.
