Just wondering what will happen with the state championship games and practice for the western regional champs if we get the 12 plus inches of snow.

I don't see the state pushing the state championship games back another week. Of course practice will be dependent upon the school systems decisions.

The state won’t push the championship back another week. Practice would be on the school systems, not the state.

How do people get to the game if the roads have 12 inches of snow LoL they have to be worried about the safety of kids, parents and supporters

I am sure the roads will be fine by Friday and Saturday for a storm that is supposed to be out by Monday night. The main routes to wherever the game is anyway

Nothing beats a good pot of soup on a wood stove. Oh wait, that's off topic and belongs in the other thread. I doubt we'll get 12 inches of snow. I believe all weather people now live off sensationalism like every other news outlet.

It's funny that this storm is coming nearly exactly 1 year after we got a foot or more here in Tigertown....Anytime, a storm is coming frrom the south/southwest with cold air in place.....We get hammered in this part of the world...I've seen reports on the weather channel of 18-24"....Fake news?....We don't have long too wait now....

As for the championship games next weekend, I doubt that they will be impacted by this storm, but there could still be some snow piled in the endzones which would be cool...
