If Dannen doesn't insist that Phil Snow not be retained and not associated with the program in any way, shape, or form next year, he is as incompetent as Coach Rhule is. Snow is a cancer that has affected our defense since he showed up to look over White's shoulder.

Name me a playmaker on the Nebraska defense that affects the game and is a difference maker
You saw what Butler was trying to do; he had limited difference makers at all levels and tried to scheme and limit big plays
It’s bigger than any coaching or scheme
I think this is likely the best offense NU has faced all season. It’s a matchup nightmare for a team that lacks playmakers on D

I thought he said he wants to retire

That conversation would end with Rhule’s agent de-pantsing Dannen (again) and Snow getting a raise. While I’m no fan of Snow, this clown show starts at the top.

Butler wasn’t a great D coordinator but he wasn’t wrong when he said we need better players. The results show that the players just aren’t good enough to play against quality opponents.

Quote from Rhule after the game that Snow did a good job bridging to an even front with quarters coverage...and that they never ran quarters after the Michigan game.

Either he's lying or things were completely effed up if true.

I won't be able to watch games at this level until next year...I've almost always been half drunk, half asleep, or at less than half-attention.

Doing a "good job" would be holding Utah to fewer than 350 yards and fewer than 28 points.
