migrants into this country without a proper background check?
I don't think we have a significant vetting procedure for immigrants from Syria.Since we don't, I'd say the answer is ... "no."
I thought we had a fairly robust one. Takes like 2 years.I don't think we have a significant vetting procedure for immigrants from Syria.

We had refugees located to New Orleans in the fall.I thought we had a fairly robust one. Takes like 2 years.
And? What basis do you have for saying that they hadn't completed the vetting process, which is at minimum two years? The civil war in Syria has been going on for five years. One doesn't just get to raise their hand and say "I'm a refugee" and get handed a visa.We had refugees located to New Orleans in the fall.
Wrong, dummy. The reason people sneak over the border is that the wait time for an immigrant visa is so long.Unless they're from Mexico

Refresh my memory - how many bombings or attempted bombings have there been by Mexicans in the past 15 years? Who's coming in unchecked? The people who sneak over the border looking for work? If they're caught, they're sent back, and in fact more have gone home voluntarily over the past two years than have come north. And I've got another news flash for you: It would be much easier for a would-be terrorist to sneak in from Canada - that border is only monitored at regular crossings, not for its entire length like the border with Mexico.Or because it's easier to sneak terrorists, contraband, and engage in human trafficking? Also, if they're coming in (unchecked) isn't that a huge security no-no? And what happens once illegals arrive? Do the go back home or stay here?

I would argue there are far more killings at the hands of illegals and the cartels in the US than there are due to Islamic Extremism. However, for the most part, what they are doing isn't affecting the overall economy of the US. Islamic Extremism has the potential to drastically affect due to the nature of the targets they select. They also look for targets that have the most psychological impact to the portion of America people actually care about. MX-13 fvcks **** up in the ghettos. By in large, mainstream America doesn't care about the ghettos.Refresh my memory - how many bombings or attempted bombings have there been by Mexicans in the past 15 years? Who's coming in unchecked? Well, as usual you're partly right -- you're confused. Either that or you're just trolling. We don't "allow" illegals to come into the country, they sneak in despite our spending billions to try to keep them out. The ones who come in the front door undergo background checks that you might not be able to pass. And nowhere did I say anything about illegals leaving soon after they arrive.Well now you've got me all confused. First you tell me we don't allow people into this country without back ground checks, then you go on to say people illegally come across the borders w/o background checks, and that they leave soon after?
migrants into this country without a proper background check?
Yea, I mean why would we want to follow the Constitution?Well we are cool with giving guns to American citizens without proper background checks.........soooo........[thumbsup]

That would be illegal.migrants into this country without a proper background check?

As a famed lyrical street poet once said: "Either they don't know, don't show, or just don't care about whats going on in the hood".

Yeah, that's totally why they come. Jesus Hubert Christ. [eyeroll]Or for the EBT card. One of the two.
As long as they both stick to normal weapons, you might be right, except for the twin towers and the USS Cole. I just don't picture a white pyscho trying to actively get his hands on nuclear material. We know that the Islamic Ext. are.Yesterday Walter, today Doughboy ... well done.
Since 9/11, I'd say that we are more at risk by your regular everyday white American psychopath than an Islamic Extremist in this country. Or, as you mentioned, the gangs and drug cartels.
It's weird what we become desensitized to and then what gets our fear and attention.
They would not stay if it wasn't available and they had no work to do. They aren't entitled to it, JHC. They aren't citizens. In fact, I don't think that anybody who comes here, who's not a citizen, should be allowed to tap into our social net.Yeah, that's totally why they come. Jesus Hubert Christ. [eyeroll]
Criminaliens...need I say more?Sanctuary cities for them to hide in !!! The other night on Bill O'Orielly, it was reported that the Border Agents are "catching and releasing "all the ones that they apprehend. .YEAH, released on our COUNTRY..Refresh my memory - how many bombings or attempted bombings have there been by Mexicans in the past 15 years? They don't stay for EBT cards, they stay because they can make money to send to family back home. And there's always work for them to do. If there wasn't, remittances to Mexico wouldn't be in the tens of billions of dollars. I completely agree with your last sentence - and they aren't supposed to be getting SNAP, but from what I could find local welfare offices aren't allowed to ask about an applicant's immigration status. They would not stay if it wasn't available and they had no work to do.
