We just beat one of the worst teams in the country and half of you are talking bowl game. Just stop...UTSA beat this team and held em to 22 points. The BBN can be fairly sad at times. Actually alot. Just stop.

It makes me more mad than anything. Everyone all hyped up about this new found offense, which may be better, but this is one of the worst defenses in the country. JUST STOP. We do this every dang time we beat a nobody.

no we are terrible. new mexico st is one of the worst teams in football. we will go 2-10 that is now evident. I hope for the sake of the kids here that are good Snell, Boom, Conrad, Jones, etc... they get a new head coach that is worth a hoot and they can succeed. Try your damnedest to Keep Marrow and Lamar for their recruiting prowess, and clean everything else out. Our "Defensive Guru Head Coach" took over today we played the worst defensive we have to date. Just epic fail all the way around

I'm very concerned. Our Defense is really a problem. And I suspect our offense won't have it this easy next week. Didn't learn much today. But I don't see this team winning more than 4 games.

No, today did nothing to create positive momentum. While it was nice to see Johnson, Snell and Conrad get going on offense, we do have to keep in mind it was New Mexico State we were playing. More troubling is the fact that the UK defense gave up over 40 points to a terrible team. Unless we see major improvement from the defense, I can only see one more likely win (Austin Peay) on the schedule, even if the offense continues to play reasonably well.

Theres literally 2 different people on the game thread talking about it. And I am sorry to offend everybody, didnt realize everyone was so sensitive. Glad everyone has eachothers back though through these hard times.

Sorry that I dont settle or get a tickle out of trash football and wins over Sun Belt bottomfeeders. If you find any positives about that, I am so sorry.

Hahaha this is funny. I sure hope people don't get on here and act like UK did anything today. They struggled for nearly 4 quarters against a team that would lose to a ton of D2 programs.

No problem. You are a good fan. I'm just happy that there may be hope to win a game or two with our new QB. I thought we might go winless this year.

I don't expect more than 3 or 4 wins.

If the Cats win and look improved against USC next week my hopes will grow a little.

Even though it was NMSU I think the offense deserves a little credit.

Gran is a proven coordinator and there IS talent on that side of the ball.

Johnson and crew look great today, he should be the starting QB I would thank. Our defense look terrible..

Its obvious we are a bad team but I hate when people get mad at people who are glad we won. I don't give a damn how bad a team is, I'll take a W over an L anyday.

I'm afraid it's my fault the OP didn't get my sarcasm. I said bowl game? After we scored again.

For the record we are not going to a bowl, Stoops is over his head, and Mitch should be fired tonight. Sorry for the confusion.
