I think trump wins Florida but I still think he's peaked.New poll out today has Trump 42% Rubio 22% in Florida(conducted by SurveyUSA). Looks like that Monmouth poll was just meant for cable news discussion.
I'm sure they want to do that but my assumption is Cruz will finish a strong second . Will the GOP go all in on Cruz?Yes and they will.
If the convention is brokered, Trump is out. They'll either combine 2 candidates to form a ticket that has a delegate count that's close (Cruz-Rubio or something) or just pick someone (not Cruz). They could also go rogue and pick someone not even in the race, Romney for example. I think the second route would probably be extremely unpopular.I'm sure they want to do that but my assumption is Cruz will finish a strong second . Will the GOP go all in on Cruz?
Will Cruz see the writing and cut a deal with trump and be his VP?
It will be very interesting
I don't see it happening. I wish it would. It's disturbing to me to see some in the GOP, like Sessions and Christie, throw in with trump. There are some things more important than party....like country. Trump is a loose cannon who has no business being near the nuclear football. He is ignorant of the most basic issues in foreign policy. He says **** off the cuff and then backtracks (torture). He is not good for the country and would not only be an embarrassment, but could put our security at risk. People are nuts. The people who compare this Trump phenomenon to nazi germany and Hitler are spot on.Yes and they will.
What a choice! When will the adults get back in control of the GOP?I'm sure they want to do that but my assumption is Cruz will finish a strong second . Will the GOP go all in on Cruz?

I agree on trump . Christie is just an opportunist and it looks like it backfired on him.I don't see it happening. I wish it would. I fully agree as this is also my perspective on the situation. If the convention is brokered, Trump is out. I fully agree on Christie. I used to have respect for him before bridgegate and then he lost my respect after that. And now him supporting Trump not only shows he is a bully that is scum from bridgegate, he is no values or cares about the country with this endorsement.I agree on trump . Christie is just an opportunist and it looks like it backfired on him.
In this day and age of instant access to information, a brokered convention which defies the majority of the GOP voters' wishes would be a complete disaster for the GOP. I think the smart thing for them to do (as a party) is to suck it up, go with Trump and lose. But, then again, I'm sure there are those in the GOP who are looking out more for country than party and don't want to give Trump even the chance to win.I fully agree as this is also my perspective on the situation.
In some ways I think President Cruz would be worse than President Trump. Cruz is an ideologue, and most effective leaders are pragmatic. I don't see that trait in Cruz.In this day and age of instant access to information, a brokered convention which defies the majority of the GOP voters' wishes would be a complete disaster for the GOP. Would be interesting if she got indicted and the republicans went brokeredThe audacity to make the claim of party before country in this thread by locksteppers of the left is hilarious. I guess if there is anyone that could identify it, it would be them, especially you know, as they already voted for someone soon to be indicted.
He can't hear you, his head is stuck too far up his ***.In some ways I think President Cruz would be worse than President Trump. Cruz is an ideologue, and most effective leaders are pragmatic. I don't see that trait in Cruz.
I'll add that a comparison of Trump to Hitler is neither correct nor good for the political discourse.
I don't get all the hate for Cruz . He's certainly intellectually capable . Dershowitz said he was his smartest law school student in 30 yearsHe can't hear you, his head is stuck too far up his ***.
Bloomberg would have killed Hillary's chances. He wouldn't have impacted the right. The soda pop mandate (symbolic) and gun control position would never pass muster with anyone on the right and even most moderates are not fans.Would be interesting if she got indicted and the republicans went brokered
I think Bloomberg would have a real shot I'm suprised he bowed out
I think in a climate where Hillary is indicted and the pubs have a fractured candidate he would have a shotBloomberg would have killed Hillary's chances. He wouldn't have impacted the right. The soda pop mandate (symbolic) and gun control position would never pass muster with anyone on the right and even most moderates are not fans.
He's not one for compromise. He is one of the hard right that drug the party hard right. Most moderates and fiscal conservatives like myself aren't a big fan of his religious positioning. We disagree very much with the evangelical base but put social issues behind that of fiscal and defense. In the Primary he isn't in my top 3 of those remaining. In the general, I would vote for him before I voted for either on the left. Hell, I would campaign for him before I voted for either on the left.I don't get all the hate for Cruz . He's certainly intellectually capable . Dershowitz said he was his smartest law school student in 30 years
Mexico's President did yesterday. Trump, like Hitler, is trumping his chest at his neighbors who are allies. Trump, like Hitler, is using some's economic angst to fan the flames of nationalism and pointing fingers at those ethnically different people who are to blame. The comparison is striking on multiple levels. In some ways I think President Cruz would be worse than President Trump. Cruz is an ideologue, and most effective leaders are pragmatic. I don't see that trait in Cruz.
I'll add that a comparison of Trump to Hitler is neither correct nor good for the political discourse.
You blockheads have had the Clintons being indicted, convicted and jailed for various "crimes" and scandals for 25 years. So far, there have been zero indictments, convictions, or executions. If we delayed supporting a Clinton until the right wing whackos finished their Clinton witch hunt, Bill would be practicing law in Hope and banging some local squeeze and never would've been President. You guys have CLCDS.....Chicken Little Clinton Derangement Syndrome. The audacity to make the claim of party before country in this thread by locksteppers of the left is hilarious. I guess if there is anyone that could identify it, it would be them, especially you know, as they already voted for someone soon to be indicted.
That's fine. You all suffer from willful ignorance. You blockheads have had the Clintons being indicted, convicted and jailed for various "crimes" and scandals for 25 years. Willful ignorance in supporting one of only two people left who are qualified enough, competent enough, experienced enough and possess the proper temperament to be CiC? Too bad your side is too stupid to support Kacich. It's funny that Trump is a product of the right-wing, scorch the earth, country is going to Hell, Obama is satan, Fox News efforts over the last 7 years. ye reap what ye sow. That's fine. You all suffer from willful ignorance.
Experienced enough to let four Americans die on foreign soil...experienced enough to knowingly transmit classified information over a un-secured email server...that kind of experience?Willful ignorance in supporting one of only two people left who are qualified enough, competent enough, experienced enough and possess the proper temperament to be CiC? Trump has brought it on himself. You can't make this stuff up.Lmfao. Godwin's Law in full effect
So when Congress raises their hand to do a pledge they are all Nazis too? LolTrump has brought it on himself. You can't make this stuff up.
CLCDS. Currently there is no cure. Just more derangement. I can see many more cases over the next 4 years. Let the next round of scandals perpetuated by the kook fringe commence. So help me Ken Starr.Experienced enough to let four Americans die on foreign soil...experienced enough to knowingly transmit classified information over a un-secured email server...that kind of experience?
LOL the government says sHillary wrote 104 emails that contained classified information...yet you deny it...too funny.CLCDS. Currently there is no cure. Just more derangement. He drew the comparisons due to his xenophobic rhetoric (not to mention being slow to disavow Mr. Duke) and then he introduced the "pledge of support". He hasn't done himself any favors on this topic. You need both aspects, your Congress analogy doesn't work imo.So when Congress raises their hand to do a pledge they are all Nazis too? Lol
Classified after the fact. just as Colin Powell's were. I mean, you can look it up. Faux scandal. CLCDS strikes again.LOL the government says sHillary wrote 104 emails that contained classified information...yet you deny it...too funny.

Cherry picking data after the fact to fit a presumption. You are presuming they were equal because of the classification but they are not the same in their effect. She compromise the country's secrets. He did not.Classified after the fact. just as Colin Powell's were. I mean, you can look it up. Faux scandal. CLCDS strikes again.
The fact that she set up a server in her closet should be enough alone to DQ her in the eyes the left.
If she did something ILLEGAL (against the law), she should be disqualified. It is really very simple folks.
We'll see. But I'm sure when she is exonerated, the usual suspects will discount it as politically motivated. She basically can't win with you folks. And btw, you don't know any more what was in Clinton's, Powell's, and Rice's emails which were classified afetr the fact as classified as anyone else. quite a jump you've made.Cherry picking data after the fact to fit a presumption. You are presuming they were equal because of the classification but they are not the same in their effect. She compromise the country's secrets. He did not.
