I am very happy so far with what we have seen so far, but there are a few more things I am looking for...

Dont slip up against any of these lesser teams at home... We finally have some positive momentum going. A loss to a team like Niagara of North Texas would be very damaging at this point. If we can get out of our OOC stretch with a 11-2 record (The 2 losses probably coming against Miami and Seton Hall) I think that would be a very good start to the new era.

Effort... The effort is there and is probably better than we have seen since the Waters years. Keeping this intensity once we hit some rough times in the B1G would be a good sign. We are very much improved, but that doesnt mean it will translate into Big 10 wins this season.

PACK THE RAC... I feel like we have an opportunity now. Some buzz may finally surround the basketball program now that the football team is in the tank. Nothing is better than the RAC when its at its best. Lets be there and be loud for this 3 game home stretch we have!

If the team keeps improving the Seton Hall game should be fun.

I agree that the key is restoring the RAC home court advantage. Hopefully, Hobbs does some serious promotions to get the students back to the RAC. If they come, they should like what they see. But, of course, the team needs to keep winning to make it work.
