And promptly disparages his namesake son. Of course, we knew this all along....

"The 41st president suggests that the 43rd president's 2002 speech describing Iraq, Iran and North Korea as part of an “Axis of Evil” included comments "that might be historically proved to be not benefiting anything." He calls Cheney's reaction to the attacks "just iron-***" and says that Rumsfeld displayed a "lack of humility" and "was an arrogant fellow."

The book is a biography written by someone else, not an autobiography.
LMAO!!
The excuses and deflection right-wingers will use in order to protect their own. Hollywood screenwriters are not that good to come up with fiction like you guys.

This biography is not an unauthorized one. The words are GHWB.
Try again.

Cheney is "iron-***" means what to GHWB? Was it a great revelation that Rummy was and remains an "arrogant" SOB? Not sure anyone who lived during the time did not perceive him to have arrogant and abrasive tongue. I have found that not to be too unusual for those who are well versed in the subject area.

Meacham is one of the best political, historical writers around and a great researcher. He leaves no stones unturned. I'll make sure to read this one. Meacham wrote a bio on fellow Tennessean, Andrew Jackson, that won a Pulitzer. Meacham is in the class of bob Woodward when it comes to political writing. Straight shooter.

I voted for the Eldest Bush, pragmatic man. He did Iraq right.
Should I assume that you are suggesting GWB was wrong to go into Iraq? We have a near parallel now in the plane crash. The intel community is reporting on what happened. GWB was getting info from an intel community that was substantially in 100% agreement - with a few exceptions.

Ain't it obvious?
