Do I even have to say "now is the time to buy this stock?" It will also be good a airline to use. They are going to pamper their customers for quite some time. It would be amusing to fly them and overtly flinch every time a stewardess walks by.

I'd generally agree, except that corporate culture doesn't change overnight--and with the high scrutiny it wouldn't surprise me if UA steps on a few more PR landmines before making the substantive changes they need to make. I.e., idk if their price has hit bottom yet.

I do agree that it's soon going to be a great time to fly the friendly skies--they'll assuredly up the ante on vouchers for overbooked passenger volunteers and probably make some shifts toward improved customer service.

United is probably a safer bet, but I had a friend with this same philosophy with another airline (although it was after a crash, not just a PR nightmare) and it never came back at all, it hadn't hit bottom yet when he bought it either so he lost quite a bit
