We've heard wingnuts say for 6 years that Blacks are racist becasue they supported Obama solely becasue he was Black. Well, Carson is Blacker than Obama. Will they support him. It won't be overwhelming support like Obama, but it will be the highest percentage of any Republican in a long time is my personal guess.
Will all those racist red states who didn't vote for Obama only because he was black vote DNC this time around? Does WV go back to being a blue state because according to you, he was not supported only because he was black.
He is already being painted as an Uncle Tom by the REAL Uncle Toms. Since I lived in the D.C./ Baltimore metro area for many years, I can tell you Carson is held in very high esteem in the African American community. Your "wingnut racist" **** is getting old. You seem to forget that African Americans are OVERWHELMINGLY Democrats and ethnic pride also was a factor in supporting Obama. So to conclude that African Americans supported Obama because of his race is far from "wingnut" speech. I would do the same if I were Jewish and a Jew was on the ballot. As far as Carson is concerned, history has been made and his African American appeal will not be as great.

If Republicans are racist, how can Carson be in second place? Personally, I like Carson. Very intelligent and with a great deal of common sense. Unlike Obama, Trump, Clinton, etc., he is very humble. He is an optimist with a great personal story. Politicians have royally screwed up this country. He may be the right person at the right time.

I would wager that since most blacks vote democratic, they would not support him. He may get a few extra but I don't think it will make any difference to the vast majority.

And that's what scares me about Hilary is that she may get elected just because she's a she. (or whatever) Whereas if she was the 2nd or 3rd she as potential President she wouldn't be so highly considered by the other she's.

Based on recent polling, Trump seems to be the favored GOP candidate in the African American community. He was polling at historical highs. I would think his anti-immigration stance and his personality are the reasons.
