Its a disaster for WVU after two straight 5 win seasons.

Not surprising the trolls who sold everyone that "7 wins isn't good enough", or the lie that "anyone can step in and immediately do better", are now doubling down on the destruction of WVU football they helped bring about.

Now winning 5 games, 6 games is "trusting the CLIMB!!! I tell you!!!"

And if you don't--they will try everything to troll you away to excuse their absolute ignorance.

WVU football is in crisis mode--many programs--even Brown's previous one--are not allowing such debacles to go on and have moved on from much more success than Brown has brought to WVU.

The Kansas game is tremendously important to Brown's future at WVU and WVU football itself.

As bad a shape as the program was in prior to his arrival, Brown should get 4 years. Covid not withstanding after that, then the program needs to be looked at in all facets as to whether it grew or not. So let's see where we are at this time next year and then we should have all questions answered.

Prior to Brown's arrival, WVU was winning at an 8 win per year average for five straight seasons. 7 wins per year avg. over the entire previous staffs time (matching WVUs historical avg.)

Now, under Brown, WVU is winning at a less than 5 win per year average over three seasons.

WVU's offense in 2018, the previous staffs final season, WVU's offense was ranked in the top 10, WVU had a well regarded Heisman contender for the majority of the year prior to injuries.

Now, WVU has one of the worst rushing attacks in all of college football and last year was eighth worst in all levels of college football for drops by receievers. WVUs scoring average has dropped from 483 pts. in 2018, 2017 at 449, 2016 at 405 down to 281 currently, 265 in 2020, 247 2019 under Brown.

WVU was 18th in the playoff rankings in 2016 under the previous staff, 13th in 2018. Numerous appearances in in season rankings during the previous staffs time at WVU.

In 2018 WVU was 4 pts (if they beat playoff bound Oklahoma) in playing for a BIG 12 CCG and probably landing in a major bowl.

Under Brown--WVU's only sniff at a bowl was after several game cancellations last year lead to a 5 win team (with two wins coming vs. an fcs and a bad Kansas squad and two more to a couple of losing BIG 12 programs).

There haven't been any rankings for WVU under Brown except in the poorest or worst categories such as the worst rushing attack nationally, worst rushing in the BIG 12 conference, 8th most drops in all of college football, etc. WVU has finished at the bottom level of BIG 12 standings and never come close to playing for the CCG.

Complete, absolute aberration of reality, history to pretend WVUs program was in "bad shape" prior to Brown's arrival.

Most assuredly its in bad shape at this moment in time, under Brown's direction.

Trolls like yourself are responsible for the current state of wvu football. Your support of 2nd losingest coach of all time with a terrible win% set this program back. Only 1 double digit win total in 8 years and only 2 seasons greater than 7 wins in an 8 year span is awful.

No, what's awful was idiots like you chasing off the second WINNINGEST coach in all of WVU history who was winning at a clip of 8 wins per year avg for his final five years, had WVU pts away from playing for the BIG 12 CCG, and brought WVU two of its rare 10 win seasons and a major bowl win in a historical thumping of Clemson in the Orange Bowl (real WVU fans know this was celebrated this past weekend at Mountaineer field btw). Duping the WVU fanbase and leadership into thinking an ACTUALLY successful and improving program on the verge of very good things for WVU was a disaster, then selling an actual disaster as a work of art, or LOL "improvement".

Holgorsen brought WVU the second most wins ever by a WVU coach. The coach with the MOST losses btw is Don Nehlen. He and Holgorsen also coached WVU in the most games. Compare Holgorsen with other WVU coaches who coached a similar number of games and DH still has more wins. DH faced the most difficult schedules ever faced by the school and also had to lead WVU into the toughest conference its ever been a part of.

Now morons like you are blowing a 5 win loser as though he is some gift to college football supremacy.

Not surprising an anti WVU troll like yourself would try to sucker the WVU fanbase into thinking 5 is greater than 7,8, 10. Its not and it never will be.

If we beat Kansas then Browns Big12 record for his first 3 seasons will be better than Holgersons first 3 big 12 seasons. That’s as close to apples to apples comparison we have. Not that it makes Brown look good just shows how mediocre Holgs was here.
